Class 1
First we will start looking at direct and indirect objects. Watch the video and do exercises 1-2 on page 107.
Next we will do some vocabulary about technology – exercises 2-5 on page 108.
Then we will do some more work on vocabulary for science and technology including idioms.
Homework for Thursday: Reading exercise 4 on page 111 (text on page 110).
Class 2
First we’ll correct the answers to the reading homework.
Then move onto some new grammar: modals of speculation and deduction. We’ll do some practice exercises on page 112. Then a Reading nd Use of English Part 4 exercise.
Next a speaking in pairs practice exercise 5.
We’ll then do exam focus. Listening and Speaking exam practice on page 115. Reading exercise on page 114 if we have time.
Homework for Tuesday: Exercises 1-2 on page 221.
