Class 1 – Tuesday, April 12th

Easter is almost here and this will be our last class before Easter holidays so naturally we’ll kick off with a couple of Easter idioms:

Then we will move on to the next unit – Broadening horizons (Unit 7).
We will start by talking about intelligence and different types of intelligence.



Next we will work on our vocabulary, practicing for Reading and Use of English – part 1 of CAE exam and do tasks 1 and 2 on pages 92 and 93 in Student’s book.
The main focus here will be on collocations, verb collocations as well as adjective collocations.

Homework: Read the following article about bullfighting on Guardian website:

Identify 2 defining and 2 non-defining relative clauses in the article and find 2 passive voice phrases.
