Today we’ll start with future forms.
We’ll look at the grammar reference on page 222 and do the 2 exercises for practice.
We will read the interview on page 124 and answer questions from exercise 4. Exercise 5 and then speaking in pairs on these statements.
Then we’ll look at some great explorations adn talk about some of the most important.
Next we’ll do a listening – exercise 3-4 on page 125.
Vocabulary – set phrases with far.
Homework: Reading and Use of English Part 2 on page 128.
Class 2
We’ll go over the answers to the homework first.
Then we’ll start future perfect & continuous by watching a video, then having a discussion and answering exercises 3-6 on page 126.
Next a little work on preparing an essay with some exercises.
Exam practice – speaking parts 3 & 4 on page 129.
Finishing with looking at the culture pages on Los Angeles. First you will write down everything you know about LA and then compare as a group. We will then read the articles on things to do in LA.
Vocabulary exercise 3 on page 131 and then listening exercise. Finishing with the video, taking notes about the city.
Homework: Writing the essay on page 127
