It goes without saying that schools play a vital role in motivating children to exercise regularly since young people spend a huge amount of time there. An obvious example of this is the vast number of sports and exercise clubs that are offered such as football, swimming or even dance classes. Nevertheless, some people argue that sport in school can be too competitive and this may deter children from wanting to exercise. Therefore, there must be a balance between competition and having fun in order to maintain high levels of motivation.
