Hi guys, today we will start with the book! In the first half of the class we will focus advanced adjectives to describe personality, as well as an introduction to the listening exam. We will therefore start off with a «highly scientific» personality test! For the online version you can follow this link.
Afterwards, we will complete exercise 1 on page 5 in the style of speaking part 3 and then categorise the adjectives in the box.
This will lead us into part 4 of the listening exam. It’s a complicated part of the exam so we will take it slowly and work through the task as a class before completing it individually.
In part 2 of the class we will look revise the past tenses. To help us with this we will watch a short video and then complete exercises 1 and 2 on page 10 and also play the following Bamboozle.
To finish off the class we will play a Kahoot to learn some fixed expressions connected to relationships, and a short Phrasal verb game (time permitting).
