Tuesday
Today we will focus on speaking part 2 and how to speculate. We will begin by discussing jobs and which jobs we would most love and hate, and why. We also have a video to watch: Apply for one of the Best Jobs in the World
We will learn the following phrases and then decide the jobs of the people in the photos below. We will then put this into exam practice on pages 24-25.
Following on we will play a Kahoot to revise expressions and idioms related to sport.
We will finish the class with a game of scattergories to revise phrasal verbs connected to sport.

Please watch the video on page 21 and complete exercises 1 and 2.
Thursday
Today we will focus on essay writing. We will do the questionnaire on page 20 and discuss our answers.
Next we will discuss in general how lifestyles have changed over the years and if we are healthier or not, and why.
We will then look at the example essay answer and discuss if it is good or bad, relating to structure, language and content. At this point we’ll discuss linkers and correct the homework.
We will then plan our own essay using the freeway writing guide.
