Monday

  • We’ll start by revising film and book genres with some speaking questions.
  • Story – I Love Books. Reading the story then listening to the audio. Expressing preferences – like, love, really like etc.
  • Then a listening exercise – what do the children say about the book?
  • Then a writing activity in the student work books.

Wednesday

  • Starting with a speaking activity expressing their likes and dislikes with different films/books or genres. “Are you a fan of adventure films?” 
  • We’ll then look at some famous book and film titles in English and then do a quiz.
  • Next we will watch a video – Books and Films, then read and say the names. Then the children will have a chance to say if they like them or not.
