Tuesday
Today we will start class by discussing who our favourite actors are and what films they appear in. We’ll also talk about how difficult it is to become an actor and look at the listening task on page 77.
We will look at the 8 possible answers and discuss why each piece of advice might be important. Next we will watch a short video about Matt Damon and listen for the advice that he follows or gives.

We will then complete the listening task.
Following on we will look at vocabulary connected to films, which will be really useful for writing a film review (Thursday’s homework!)

Categorise the vocabulary in exercise 1 on page 74.
Then complete the sentences in exercise 2 with the correct word.
Thursday
Today we will revise how to write a review. We will look at page 73 and the material below. Students will plan and then write their reviews in pairs.
Homework:
Even though it says “book” you can write about a film or TV series if you prefer! The structure and key information is the same, we just have to change certain aspects of the review (e.g. Director instead of Author etc)
