Today we will begin by checking over the homework and playing this Bamboozle to consolidate reported speech.
Following this we will turn our attention to the topic of reality TV and discuss the following questions:
- How long do you spend in front of the TV on an average day?
- What shows do you watch and what are your favourite / least favourite?
- Do you watch any reality shows? If yes, which ones?
- Why do some people find them entertaining?
- Would you ever go on a reality show or talent show? Why? Why not? If so, which one?
We will also look at exam technique for reading part 7 and cover some of the more difficult vocabulary from the exam task on pages 90 and 91.
Then we will look at part 4 listening exam task:
We will then complete a speaking part 3 task from page 88 of the book to practise interactive language:
