Class one
Today we will start Unit 10: A Lifelong Process. This focuses on education and learning.
We will begin with a role play for fun and to get back into speaking English.
We will then discuss the photos on page 106 (which show different types of education) saying the advantages and disadvantages of each type, and then complete the following speaking part 2 exam tasks based on the topic of education.
We will discuss the conversation topics on page 106 and then focus on how important a university education is in this day and age. We will also complete a Kahoot on the topic of education phrasal verbs: https://create.kahoot.it/details/ea9ca84c-58d7-4e15-a242-537ca5818cc8
We will complete the following part 3 exam task on whether or not it is important to go to university.
We will finish class with some debates on various topics connected to learning and education:
