Today we will focus on the general listening techniques of identifying distractors and how synonyms and similar meaning phrases are used to indicate the correct answer.
We will work from page 14 of the textbook. We will complete exercises 1 and 2 in small groups.
Students will then complete listening exercises 1 and 3 on page 14 and exercise 6 on page 15.
We will then look at page 15 and the vocabulary related to personality. We will categorise the vocabulary before completing a part 4 listening task.
We will then touch on word formation (page 15) by adding suffixes to form nouns related to personality. Following on we will review how to structure an essay and discuss the homework, which is all about what forms our personality.
