Tuesday
We will start class by correcting the homework on pages 10-11 and 13.
We will talk about fashion today. We will discuss in pairs the About You questions on page 14 and then listen to four young people talk about their attitudes to fashion. We will learn adjective+preposition collocations in exercise 1 and then work in pairs to practise them in sentences.
Following on, students will debate school uniforms: the good, the bad and if they are really necessary. This will be followed by the listening task on page 17.
We will finish class with a game.
Homework:
Complete the reading part 1 exam task on pages 14 and 15.
Then read the four replies underneath and complete exercises 4 and 5 on page 15
Thursday
Today we will work on the present perfect simple and continuous. First we will look at the rules on page 16 and complete exercise 2. We will play a Bamboozle to practise and check understanding.
Next we will learn some verb+preposition collocations on page 16.
We will play a Kahoot to revise all the new phrases we learned this week.
