Monday
Today we will talk about music and also revise the present perfect and past simple on page 44.
First off, we will discuss the following questions:
- How important is music to you?
- How would you define “good” music?
- What music do you listen to when you’re stressed/angry/happy/sad?
- Are you a musician? Can you sing or play any instrument?
- What’s more important to you, a good melody or good lyrics?
We will then look at the music vocabulary on page 42 and complete exercise 3 in pairs.
We will then revise the present perfect and past simple, how and when to use it, and then play the following games to practise:
Present Perfect, Simple or Continuous
Homework:
Complete the reading task on page 43 (exercises 4 and 5)
Wednesday
Today we’ll start with a description game and conversation questions from the B1 exam to get students speaking.
Then we will continue to study the past simple and present perfect with two games to focus on for/since and just,yet, already.
