Today we will begin class by looking at vocabulary related to the world of work (page 147) and then put this into practice by completing the speaking part 3 and 4 exam tasks on page 152.
We will also study cleft sentences which help to emphasise information (particularly in writing).
Finally, we will look generally at the writing and make a checklist of useful grammar to include, and then focus more specifically on the proposal.
We may not have time, but hopefully we can also squeeze in a listening part 2 exam task. If not today, we can add this into next week’s class!
