Hi guys, today we will start with the book! We will focus on advanced adjectives to describe personality, as well as an introduction to the listening exam.
We will complete exercise 1 on page 8 in the style of speaking part 3 and then categorise the adjectives in the box. This will lead us into part 4 of the listening exam on page 9. It’s a complicated part of the exam so we will take it slowly and work through the task as a class before completing it individually.
In the second half of the class we will look at essay writing on pages 16 and 17. We will cover how to plan and write a CAE essay within the time limit, and investigate the CAE Writing Guide.
