Since Wednesday is a bank holiday, today we are going to cover two topics in one. First off, we will have a crash course in essay writing. To start off we will examine the task and example answer on pages 20-21. We will discuss the conventions of the task and how to structure our work. We’ll reference the CAE writing guide too.
Secondly we will look at word formation and how we can alter words with prefixes or suffixes. We will look at page 21 for a general idea of word formation, and on page 18 for targeted work on negative prefixes. Should we have time, we will finish with a word formation Kahoot.
