Monday:
Today we are going to do a little work from your book: Unit 7 Adventure Holidays pg. 42
Let’s start by looking at ex. 1 and matching the vocabulary to the pictures.
Now let’s do ex. 2 by listening to Tara and her friend Dan, followed by ex. 3 where we fill in the table bout their holiday activities.
Finally, before we do exercise 4, can you remind me what a phrasal verb is?
How is it constructed?
How is it different to a normal verb?
Can you give me some examples?
Let’s do ex. 4 now by completing the sentences with the phrasal verbs.

Let’s start with some speaking by answering these questions together:
What is an adventure holiday?
Have you or anyone from your family or friends ever been one and can you tell us all about it?
Would you prefer to go on adventure holiday or a normal holiday? What do you think the differences between the two are?
Let’s vote by putting our hands up to show our preference for adventure holidays or normal holidays.
Now let’s play a game: In two teams (those who like adventure holidays and those who like normal holidays), we have to make a list of the advantages of both types of holiday in english with the other members on your team i.e. the ones who voted the same as you.
The team with the most beneficial/positive things on their list wins!
