Before we start, tell me a little about your Fallas break. What did you do? Where did you go? Did you dress up as fallera/fallero? Do you like the celebrations? Why/why not?
Tuesday:
Today we are going to do some listening practise in your activity book to finish off this unit.
Let’s go to page 39 and do exercise 8 where we have to listen and circle the correct words in the dialogue we here.
Now let’s do some speaking. I would like you to think of someone special in your life and think about a gift or a present you would give them for their birthday.
Share you answers with the class and help me spell some of the difficult words for the gift on the board.
Now we will write out our answers in out activity book in exercise 9. You can also draw a picture of the gift you want to give you special person.
Finally, from all the new vocabulary for different gift that we have learnt, tell me out loud which gift you would most like to receive for yourself.

Thursday:
Today we are going to move on to a new topic which is all about theatre and acting! This Unit is called Acting Out!
before we start looking at the student’s book, I’d like to know some things about youto do with plays and the theatre:
Have you ever seen a play?
What was it called and what was the story about?
Have you ever been in a play?
If you have been in a play, what character did you play?
If you could choose any well know character to play in a film or the theatre (Snow White, Ariel the mermaid, A character from Despicable Me (Minions) etc.) , who would you want to play?
Let’s start by singing the wonderful song you can see on the board all together.
Now, let’s see if you can answer these questions about the song:
What are some of the different characters mentioned in the song and who are hey played by?
What do they look like? (hair, do they have a pet?)
Now let’s do ex. 2 all together by listening and repeating the words to do with different types of hair and facial hair to describe people.
Finally let’s read the story on the next page and talk about our favourite movie/theatre characters.
