Tuesday:
Today we are going to move on to a new topic which is all about theatre and acting! This Unit is called Acting Out!
before we start looking at the student’s book, I’d like to know some things about you to do with plays and the theatre:
Have you ever seen a play?
What was it called and what was the story about?
Have you ever been in a play?
If you have been in a play, what character did you play?
If you could choose any well know character to play in a film or the theatre (Snow White, Ariel the mermaid, A character from Despicable Me (Minions) etc.) , who would you want to play?
Let’s start by singing the wonderful song you can see on the board all together.
Now, let’s see if you can answer these questions about the song:
What are some of the different characters mentioned in the song and who are hey played by?
What do they look like? (hair, do they have a pet?)
Now let’s do ex. 2 all together by listening and repeating the words to do with different types of hair and facial hair to describe people.
Finally let’s read the story on the next page and talk about our favourite movie/theatre characters.

Thursday:
Today we are going to continue learning how to describe people.
First we are going to listen and read the story on page 54. Now let’s try to describe ourselves out loud by putting your hands up and telling me what colour eyes you have, what your hair is like, if you are tall or average for your age in height etc. using the phrase «I’ve got…»
Now let’s look at ex. 2. Let’s read, match and say the missing word.
Finally let’s draw a picture of a friend or family member and write 3 sentences underneath the picture to describe them:
He’s got… hair/eyes/smile etc.
She’s got… hair/eyes/smile etc.
Now show the class your picture and tell us who it is and read us your sentences.
