Today we will revise the past simple. To begin with, we will talk about travel and moving to or visiting different countries. We will also talk about some of the biggest differences between Spain and the UK including our festivals:
We will then listen to Emily speaking on page 19 about the differences between Canada and Mexico. This will lead us nicely into a review of the past simple, and how to form sentences in positive and negative, as well as questions.
Students will play the green card game, and then we will play a Bamboozle to practice the grammar.

Friday 29th
Today we will have some halloween fun.
We will begin with a video about halloween traditions around the world:
We will play a Halloween Bamboozle which contains plenty of conversation questions to get us talking about this celebration and how we like to celebrate it.
We will then complete a short reading task and test our knowledge of Halloween.
We will finish with a Trivia Kahoot all about Halloween.
Homework:
Write a short article (100 words) about a special memory you have about school. It might be a school trip, a funny experience in class, or something important you achieved like passing a difficult exam.
Remember that all your verbs must be in the past tense.

Write a short spooky story (100 words). You can use this idea for inspiration if you want to!
