Class 1 – Monday, November 8th

Today we will start our class by adjective comparison revision.
Then we will start unit 5 – About animals. We will do activities A – D and then we will play a game – Guess the animal.
A student will choose one animal and try to use the vocabulary we learned to describe it to the rest of the class, while the rest of the class will try to guess which animal it is.

The objective of this activity is to practice description adjectives, verbs related to animals and moving (jump, hop, fly, swim, etc) and to practice verbs can/cannot (e.g. This animal cannot fly). A student will choose one animal and try to use the vocabulary we learned to describe it to the rest of the class, while the rest of the class will try to guess which animal it is.

As this unit includes a text about dinosaurs, it is a good time to learn a bit more about these incredible creatures that used to roam the Earth once:

Class 2 – Wednesday, November 10th

Today we will continue working on expanding our animal and clothes vocabulary in the new unit 6 – My things.
This unit will help us review our clothes and animal vocabulary and also we will practice listening by doing activities B and C.

In the end, we will finish with a speaking exercise by doing the activity D in this unit. This will be particularly useful to work on asking WH-questions (When, Who and Where).

We will then do the animal quizz to finish this unit:
