Monday 15th
Today we will start a new topic in the book which is all about our town.
Students will begin by learning vocabulary on page 28 and say which is their favourite place and why. We will then listen to exercise two and decide which town is being described.
Afterwards, we will learn how to make sentences with there is/there are. We will listen to the short story on page 30 and then complete exercise 2.
We will finish the class with a bamboozle to practice sentences with there is / there are.
Wednesday 17th
Today we will start off by revising there is / there are by making sentences about what shops and places are on our street. We will use the following quiz to help us with vocabulary: Places in the city
We will then listen and read the story on pages 32/33 and complete the questions in exercise 2.
We will watch a short video about New York and then read about the city on page 36.
