Class 1 – Tuesday, December 14th

Hello! Today we start with a new topic/unit 3 – Rolling in money. It surely sounds promising! What does it mean to roll in money? Would you rather be rolling in the deep or rolling in money? Adele probably has something to say about this!

Unlike Adele, we will dive deeper into conditionals (zero, first, second and third).
First we explain conditionals and try to find them in activity 1 on page 42 (grammar).
This map will help us summarize all types of conditionals and their examples:

Next we’ll do activities 3 and 4 on pages 42 and 43.

Homework:
Conditionals: https://www.perfect-english-grammar.com/first-second-third-conditionals-exercise.html

We will continue with a conversation practice and try to answer the biggest questions of them all – does money buy you happiness?

We’ll finish practicing «what if…» questions to further work on using the conditionals in our speech:

Homework: Read the following article about the lottery curse and try to remember the people and what events followed their lottery win – we will talk about it next class! Write down any new vocabulary as well – we’ll go through it next time together:
