Class 1
Today we will start the lesson by correcting the homework.
Next we will do a Speaking activity, practicing Part 3 of the speaking exam.
We will continue with a discussion about university, including some of the below questions.
Finally, we will continue with the end of unit test for unit 3 in the textbook for revision.
Homework for Thursday 20th January: Page 211 – Giving Advice. Read through the guidance and answer questions to exercises 1 & 2.
Class 2
First we will correct the answers for the homework – page 211.
Then we will start Unit 4 – A trip to remember. We will start with a discussion about different types of holidays. Then we will do exercises to learn some new vocabulary about travels and holidays as a group and practice speaking – exercises 1-6 on page 56-57.
Next we will do a listening exercises – listening for detail.
Finally we will talk about the different attractions spoken about in the listening and decide what we would most like to do and why.
Homework for Tuesday 25th January: watch the Grammar video on page 59 about Countable and Uncountable nouns, then do exercises 1 & 2.
