Class 1
First we will correct the homework – exercises 3-4 on page 69 and exercises 1-2 on page 212.
We will then start on books and reading – exercises 2-3 on page 70 – new vocabulary and phrases.
Then we will start on the next part of grammar – past simple and past perfect. We will watch the video first and then answer exercises 1, 3 & 4 on page 72.
We will finish by looking at writing a review with some exercises on how to write it.
Homework for Tuesday 15th: Writing a review – page 72. You can use the exam writing tips on page 77 to help you write it.
Class 2
Today we will start with positive and negative adjectives on page 74, also looking at the C1 adjectives to build your vocabulary.
Then we will move on to speaking – reaching an agreement. First speaking about the pictures on page 75 and which we prefer, then do a listening exercise – 2-3.
Vocabulary to describe art – exercises 4-5.
Finishing with the exam listening exercise on page 77.
Homework for Tuesday: Exam reading task on page 76.
