Today we will complete a full speaking exam. Since we have a mix of levels we will work from the following practice exams for CAE and FCE adults.
Wednesday
Today we will continue with work from the book. Since the theme is technology and language learning apps, we will talk about our own experiences with such apps and discuss the pros and cons of them. We have a number of speaking tasks and a use of English task. Then, working from pages 98-99, we will focus on writing a review.
Homework:
An electronics company has invited customers to write a review about their favourite electronic gadget. Write a review about an electronic gadget that you couldn’t live without.
Your review should outline the gadget’s capabilities and what you use it for. You should also comment on the extent to which the gadget meets your needs.
Write your review in 220-260 words.
