Tuesday 17th
Today we will start class with a speaking activity in which students must try talk about a random topic for 60 seconds:
We will then revise telling the time and saying dates with the correct prepositions using the following interactive link: Date and Weather Interactive Chart – ESL Kids Games
We will also play a bamboozle to help us practice this: Prepositions of Time | Baamboozle
In pairs complete the reading task on page 95.
We will finish the class with a game of Apples to Apples.
Thursday 19th
Today we will start class with a 5 minute vocabulary activity in pairs. Students have 5 minutes to answer as many of the categories below as possible. The team with more answers wins!
We will then practice talking about the future using will/won’t. We have a short reading task and some True/false questions, as well as a couple of games on the British Council website. We will practise the grammar orally with some conversation questions, and finish the class with a Bamboozle about technology.
