Monday 3rd October
We will play a quick game of Bamboozle to do some getting-to-know-you topics that are useful when thinking of the Speaking Part of the exam.
After that game, we can open the textbooks on Page 8 and 9 and start to do the activities. First there is a listening and speaking activity, and on the next page we can see a few listening activities to start looking at the KEY exam listening section.
We will finish class with a description game in small groups.
Wednesday 5th October
First, we will look at the Present Simple tense and how it is used. From the textbook we can see on Page 10 a quick look at how and when and why we use the Present Simple.
We will play a game to use the Present Simple more,
Then, each student will write TEN sentences in the Present Simple (positive, negative, things about daily habits, things that are always true)
Then we will look at the Family Tree section from page 11 and write our family trees and ask questions with our partners
