Wednesday
- Today we start by looking at past simple and past continuous. We’ll look at example sentences in the book and complete the rules with when to use each tense.
- We’ll then do a practice exercise 6 in the books on page 20 – filling out the correct form of the verbs.
- We will then do a Bamboozle on past simple and past continuous.
- Next we will do a Listening Part 1 exercise in the books – on page 21.
Friday
- We will start this class with some grammar on ‘used to’ – page 21.
- Practice activity on used to.
- We’ll then work on some vocabulary – do, make, have, earn, spend and take.
- Finally we will look at writing an article. We will also briefly go over the writing exam format and timings.
Homework: write the article on page 23 – What makes a great school?
