Monday
Today we will focus on the general listening techniques of identifying distractors and how synonyms and similar meaning phrases are used to indicate the correct answer.
We will work from page 14 of the textbook. We will complete exercises 1 and 2 in small groups.
Students will then complete listening exercises 1 and 3 on page 14 and exercise 6 on page 15.
We will finish the class with a Kahoot to learn some idioms and vocabulary connected to relationships.

Wednesday
Today we look at page 15 and the vocabulary related to personality. We will categorise the vocabulary in exercise 2 before completing a listening part 4 exam task.
We will then look at word formation on page 15 by completing the sentences in exercise 5 with a word from exercise 2 that has to be altered in some way. We will continue with word formation next week.
We will finish with a Kahoot to learn some C2 level phrases on page 17.
