Let’s continue using our book this week but for a change let’s move on to a new topic: Unit 8 Getting Away, pg. 46.
Let’s start by watching the video about dream holidays and answering the questions about your dream holiday, I want to know all about what you would love to do!
Now let’s do ex. 1 and try to name the different types of holidays we can see in the photos, followed by ex. 2 where you do the quiz but then you compare answers with all your classmates as we talk about our preferences and reasons all together!
Now we will go to pg. 133 to find out our results! Do you agree with what the book says? Why or why not?
Finally let’s do ex. 4 using the words in blue from the quiz and to finish let’s do some speaking practise by answering the questions at the end of the page.

Today, to begin with we are going to look at some fun idioms in a Powerpoint presentation I’ve prepared and try to think of their equivalent in Spanish.
Continuing with the PP presentation, we will revise the spelling and structure of the past continuous while asking ourselves what the difference is between the past continuous and the past simple. We will then do some exercises orally all together in order to make sure we know how to form the past continuous,
Finally we are going to focus on the grammar uses of too, enough, very and not enough and practise using them with the exercises in the presentation.
