Class one
In class one we are going to talk about routines. We’ll start off by looking at different things we do in the day and students will say the time they do this. Then we will listen to a boy called Kyle who will describe a normal day in his life and students will write down the times he does each activity. We will also look at free time activities. Students have to talk about what they like to do in their free time and then write down 2 activities they enjoy and 2 they do not enjoy, and say why.
We will finish class with a game.
Homework: Look at the daily routines below. Write a sentence for each activity. Say what time you do each activity.
For example: I have lunch at 2.00pm
I watch TV at 8.45pm.
Class two
To start off class two we will revise how to tell the time.
Next we will speak about food, and if we prefer to eat at home or in restaurants. We will revise food vocabulary and talk about what our favourite food is.
Following on we will learn how to say the price of products in a shop.
Homework: Please write the amount in numbers
We are going to listen about a fast food cafe and students must write the correct prices for the food they can see.
