In class one we are going to speak about money and the future of cash in society. To start off we will revise/learn some vocabulary related to finances and banks. We will work in groups to discuss the evolution and future of money based on these six photographs.

Students will then watch a video from The Economist about a cashless future and answer these comprehension questions.
We will also play a Kahoot to learn idioms related to money.
HW:
Read the review on page 119 and answer questions in task 1 and 2.
Complete exercise 5 on page 120.
Class two:
In class two we will start by looking at the homework related to the report. We will revise the structure of this type of writing, in relation to both the CPE and CAE exams. We will also complete exercise 6 (I will give you some possible answers in class to help with this).
Moving on we will discuss success and failure. We will discuss what success means to us, and how to achieve success in the face of difficulties. We will also complete the listening task on page 117. To finish class students will learn vocabulary related to success and failure before putting into oral practice.

Homework: please complete the writing task on page 120. For CAE students, please note that the word limit is 220-260 words.
