Class one

In class one we will complete activities 2-5 on page 14, which focus on vocabulary connected to sports, and how to connect ideas and words across two sentences (for example by using pronouns). 

We will then complete the reading task on page 15 of the book, in which students put sentences back into text. 

Finally, students will work in pairs to do the collaborative task of the speaking exam, and practise the following expressions of dis/agreement:

Class two

In class two we are going to have a Halloween themed class in which students will attempt to solve a murder mystery. We will begin by revising the past simple and past continuous, and when we use each tense.

To practise further, students are going to turn detective and will try to resolve a murder mystery! By examining clues from a crime scene, students will create a story to explain a mysterious death using the past simple and continuous.

To finish the class we will play a Bamboozle all about Halloween.
