Class one
In class one we are starting a new topic in the book called All in the Mind. We’ll start off with a short personality quiz and discuss how (in)effective they are in determining our personality. We will then look at exercises 1, 3 and 4 on page 20.
Working in pairs, we will focus on the exam task on pages 20-21. We will learn how to identify parts of the text that can give us clues, and complete the exam task in class.
We will finish off with a Bamboozle to practise some more adjectives of personality.

Class two
In class two we will start off by correcting the homework. The main focus today is letter writing. We will look at the activities on page 23 and also use the Freeway writing guide to learn how to structure a letter to a friend. We will work in pairs to brainstorm ideas about the task, and specific grammar and vocabulary we could use. We will then work individually to write the letter in stages. After each stage we will read out and correct our letters.
To finish the class we will play a Kahoot.
Homework
Finish off the letter if not finished in class.
