Class one
Today we will start chapter 3, which is all about relationships. We will begin with role plays based on typical situations you might encounter with friends and families. We will then look at some collocations related to family and friends in the form of a Kahoot, but you can also find the same activity in exercise 1 on page 24. Students will then describe the photos on page 24 using the collocations.
Following on from this we will complete the listening exam task.

Class two
In class two we will look at writing part 2: informal letters.
We will start off with a role play about tricky situations and how to give advice. This will then lead into the example letter that we’ll read on page 31. As a class we will look at how to structure an informal letter, and what expressions were used in the example to give advice.
Next students will work in pairs to plan their letters following the advice below.
Students will then write their letters in class.
