Class one
In class two we will look at page 52 of the book. We will discuss some of the ‘bucket list’ activities and the quotes in question 3. We will then focus on a part 1 listening task, which is all about dramatic events. Students will match up phrases they can expect to hear in the task with their definition, and then we will complete the task itself, which is on page 53.
To finish off we will discuss some of the idiomatic expressions on page 54.
Homework:
Complete the reading and use of English exam task on pages 56 and 57.
Class two
In class two we will look at verbs that are followed by either the ing form, or the infinitive. Students will work in pairs to complete activities 1 and 2 on page 54. We will then play a Kahoot to see some more confusing verb forms, before answering questions using these specific phrases. We will then complete the speaking part 2 task on pages 58 and 59.
