Class one
In class two we will look at the future continuous and the future perfect on page 56. We will practise by speaking in pairs about things we will have done by a certain point in the future (using the speaking cards below.) We will also talk about things we will be doing at specific points in the future.
We will finish with Bamboozle to further practise this grammar.

Class two
In class two we will look at part 1 of the writing exam: the essay. The topic is all about changing times, so we will start off by taking a short quiz to see if students can guess the technology of yesteryear. We will then have a short class debate about whether the world we live in now is better or worse than 50 years ago. Following this we will read an example essay on page 57 and revise the structure, register and tone of an essay. We will also look at language we can use to show addition and contrast.
Following on from this we will watch a video about the homes of the future and compare what we see in the video to the ideas we wrote about for homework.
