This week we have just the one class on Tuesday. The plan is as follows:
Today we are talking about binge-watching. We will begin with a short questionnaire and discussion about TV habits. Next there is a video we will watch about binge watching and whether it can actually be good for us. Based on this we will study some new vocabulary and then work in small groups to discuss some debate topics. All materials will come from the following worksheet, though we won’t complete every activity.

Reasons why online streaming services have become so popular:
- the opportunity it offers to watch TV series on demand.
- the ease with which we can find new shows based on preference algorithms.
- its use as a form of procrastination.
Write an essay discussing TWO of the reasons given for the popularity of online streaming services. You should explain which reason is most important, giving reasons in support of your answer. (220-260 words)
