Class one

In class one we will start off with some speaking part 2 practice. Next we will complete a listening part 1 exam task on pages 96 and 97, before finishing off class with some noun-verb collocations and conversation questions based on them.

Class two

In class two we will study time clauses- how we use them and with which grammar. We will complete exercises 1-3 on page 98, before looking at some commonly confused prepositions when referring to times.

Informal Letter to a friend:

You have recently been travelling in an exotic country. Your friend has written to you because they are thinking about visiting the same place. Write them a letter describing the highlights of your trip, you should also mention any problems you encountered, say whether or not you would recommend the place and give your friend advice for their trip. (220-260 words)
