Class one:
We will begin the class by correcting tasks one and two of the homework, which will lead into the main activities today.
Students will discuss what they thought about the topic of the video set for homework, and about typical foods from their country. We will then learn some new idioms related to food, and practise using them orally. To finish the class we will play a Kahoot.
Homework: Please complete the exam task on page 146 and also connect the music idiom to its definition in the following document.
Class two:
In class two we’re focusing on music. We will begin by discussing what makes ‘good’ music, and some of our favourite groups or artists. We will then check the homework which was centred on idioms related to music, and put these into practise with some discussion. To finish off the class we will complete the listening on page 124.
