Happy New Year! I hope you all had a lovely time over the festive period! Today we will start off class with some general discussion about our breaks, and also New Year’s resolutions. This will include how they started, some of the most typical resolutions, and if we have made any.
We will then revise the future perfect simple and continuous, and the future continuous using the following Bamboozle
Homework:
Put the verbs in brackets in the correct tense (future perfect simple or continuous.)
- By 2034 we (live) in Madrid for 20 years.

Wednesday
In class two we will look at page 52 of the book. We will watch a video: The Bucket List (2007) Official Trailer – Morgan Freeman, Jack Nicholson Movie HD
And learn about the bucket list before discussing some of the ‘bucket list’ activities and the quotes in question 3.
We will then focus on a part 1 listening task, which is all about dramatic events. Students will match up phrases they can expect to hear in the task with their definition, and then we will complete the task itself, which is on page 53.
To finish off we will discuss some of the idiomatic expressions on page 54.
